Simple Layouts

Simple Layouts enables artists and designers to iterate and organize their 3d scenes. Originally developed for ease when switching between modelling and 3d printing ready layouts , the core ability to save object transforms and visibility states as well as 3D views and Outliner toggles, makes Simple Layouts an extremely powerful and essential addition to the tool kit of any artist or designer involved in making layouts. Swap out props, re-position lights or hide exterior meshes to edit internal components, the possibilities are endless.

Each layout can ....

Store any object location, rotation, rotation mode, scale and all visibility and selection toggles.
Store Collection visibility and selection toggles.
Have an assigned 3D view.
Filter affected objects and data.
Create and associate 'Applied Visual Geometry' .
Be locked and assigned a colour tag.

Save Visibility, Transforms and Views

Associate preset views, custom 3D viewport coordinates or camera views with Layouts. Hide the roof, open the door, change lighting.....

Applied Visual Geometry, make non-destructive edits.

Make a flattened copy of a Layout, applying modifiers and converting all geometries to meshes. Then switch back to the source objects, update geometry or make changes to applied geometry without affecting their source.
